On the 17th of April 2014 the Municipal Council of Strumica adopted the Local action plan for inclusion of the Informal waste collectors. This Action plan was prepared within the project “Inclusion of informal Roma waste collectors into the formal waste schemes” supported by the European Union, EIDHR program. It was developed by the working group in Strumica consisted of different stakeholders within the municipality.
